Calm your system, not just your thoughts.
When your system has been under strain for too long, you can feel 'locked on', numbed out or even unsafe.
AcuCalm is a simple, affordable, clinically informed system combining auricular acupressure and therapeutic audio to support nervous system regulation.
Designed to settle your body, ease the mind and improve sleep. So you can return to, and then maintain a greater sense of stability.

Guided audio + acupressure to train
your brain and body to settle together.
Your nervous system doesn't respond to reason
Your nervous system’s primary role is to keep you safe. It constantly scans for signals of threat or safety, adjusting your level of alertness accordingly.
After prolonged stress, anxiety, trauma, or overwhelm, it can remain in a protective state. This can affect sleep, mood, energy, and your ability to fully relax.
This is not something you can simply think your way out of.
The nervous system responds best to consistent physical and neurological signals of safety.
AcuCalm was designed to provide those signals.
How AcuCalm works in your body

The vagus nerve plays a central role in regulating your body’s stress and relaxation response, influencing heart rate, breathing, digestion and your overall sense of safety.
Much of this system sits deep within the body.
The outer ear is one of the only places where a branch of this system can be accessed directly.
Gentle, consistent stimulation at specific points on the ear sends signals to the nervous system that it is safe to begin settling.
AcuCalm uses medical-grade titanium ear beads to provide that steady physical input.
The guided audio works alongside this, using attention, rhythm and imagery to reinforce the same message internally.
Together, these inputs give your system a clearer and more consistent
signal to move out of stress and into regulation.
Why this approach is effective
AcuCalm combines two approaches that have both been studied for their effects on stress, sleep and regulation.
Auricular acupressure has been linked to improvements in sleep quality, perceived stress and markers such as cortisol.
Guided audio approaches, including relaxation and imagery, have been shown to reduce anxiety and support shifts in nervous system activity.
Some tracks also include carefully selected frequencies. Research in this area is still developing, but sound-based approaches are being widely explored for their effects on mood, attention and relaxation.
What makes AcuCalm different is the combination.
The ear provides a steady physical signal. The audio reinforces it internally. Together, they give your system a clearer and more consistent way to settle.

Use AcuCalm in a way that works for you

You don’t need long sessions or perfect conditions.
Some people listen while walking, or while getting things done at home.
Even brief use gives your nervous system a clear signal to settle.
Some use the beads consistently, others use them around specific situations.
Repetition is what allows that shift to become more reliable.
You can return to it whenever you need support
Built from the clinical work of Sarah Kallend, Stress & Trauma Therapist
During cancer treatment, ear acupressure became a practical way to support Sarah’s regulation and recovery.
At the same time, clients in one-to-one sessions were asking for something they could use between appointments to help them settle more consistently.
AcuCalm combines targeted ear acupressure with guided audio, drawing on hypnotherapy and nervous-system-based approaches to support both mind and body.
The beads are medical-grade titanium, chosen for comfort and reliability, particularly for those with sensitivities to other materials.
Developed by Sarah Kallend as a practical extension of her clinical work in Derbyshire.
